Reporting to theManager,Regulatory Compliance,theInspectoris responsiblefordeliveringcompliance-focused regulatory assurance activities within the sectors regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). These include the Alcohol, Lottery and Gaming,andCannabissectors. What You Will Do: Plan for and conduct risk-based, outcomes-focused compliance activities, such as inspections of AGCO regulated entities in several lines of business to validate compliance in operating procedures, manuals and established best practices as well as with the applicable legislation, standards, rules, terms, conditions and/or other regulatory requirements. Support the AGCO's outcomes-focused approach in delivering services as required by the AGCO's mandate with knowledge of industry-specific practices and businesses. Act as a resource and provide information and education to stakeholders (internal and external),theirstaff,communitystakeholders,thepublicandotherpartnerstopromoteandenhance compliance and understanding of AGCO regulatoryobjectivesverbally and/or in writing whereappropriate.
