repair and continuous improvement of production machinery in a high volume automotive metal stamping plant – stamping presses and ancillary equipment including coil handling systems, feeders, straighteners, conveyors, transfer systems, material handling equipment compressors, pumps, etc.Assist with press and equipment alignments, leveling, installation, commissioning, and major repairsPerform precision measurements and mechanical fitting as requiredRespond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot to determine root causes, working with other personnel (Electricians, Tool & Die, Operators, etc.)Recommend corrective actions and improvements to recurring equipment failuresAssist with emergency repairs while ensuring all work is performed safely and correctlyInspect machinery for wear, damage, misalignment, vibration, lubrication issues, and other conditions that may lead to equipment failureMaintain lubrication systems and ensure equipment is properly lubricated
