Citi seeks a Senior Java Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of application development. Contribute to complex projects, ensuring high-quality code and system stability throughout the Agile process.

In this role, you will be pivotal in the development and implementation of new application features. With a solid focus on Core Java and Spring, you will also mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to architecture and coding standards. You’re expected to manage tasks independently while providing post-implementation support to ensure systems run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop high-quality, maintainable applications with Core Java and Spring
• Oversee feature implementation from requirements to production




• Engage in CI/CD deployment and automated testing activities
• Mentor junior developers on best practices and design patterns
• Identify and remediate performance bottlenecks in applications

Requirements:
• 5-8 years of experience in enterprise Java development
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience in automated testing and CI/CD practices
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with NoSQL databases
• Demonstrated capability in managing complex software projects
