Serve residents with compassion as a Health Care Aide with AgeCare. Collaborate with a skilled care team to provide essential support and care across various resident services and activities.

In this pivotal role, you will work under the supervision of a Staff Nurse, ensuring the highest quality of care for each resident. You will perform essential tasks such as bathing, transferring, feeding, and assisting residents in activities throughout the facility. This role requires both skill and attention to individual care needs and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
• Bathe and wash residents to enhance comfort and wellness
• Assist residents with transfers using proper equipment
• Feed residents during mealtimes and manage dietary needs
• Provide routine treatments under nurse supervision
• Accompany residents to dining and recreational activities

Requirements:
• One year of experience in a care setting
• Personal Care Aide Certificate or equivalent
• Active registration with CLHA
• Fluent in English, oral and written
• Post-secondary education preferred
