Grocery Department Manager in Training
Real Canadian Superstore is hiring a Department Manager in Training in Penticton, BC. The role includes a comprehensive development program to prepare the successful candidate to lead a department.

Responsibilities

Learn to oversee daily department operations and deliver customer service.

Support department sales, profitability, inventory management, merchandising, and operational standards.

Learn to lead, coach, and develop colleagues and foster an inclusive workplace.

Work with store leaders to support business goals, labour management, compliance, and store-wide priorities.

Maintain a clean and safe workplace for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications





High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.

Previous retail management experience is an asset.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.

Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Flexible availability, including nights and weekends; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Hiring range: $45,000–$55,000 per year.

Candidates 18 or older must complete a criminal background check.
