As a Health Care Aide, you will deliver resident care under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse. This role requires proficiency in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring comfort through proper care techniques. You will engage in transferring, feeding, and routine treatments to enhance the quality of life for residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Bathe and wash residents with strict temperature control
• Assist residents in transfers using mechanical aids
• Feed residents according to dietary plans
• Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
• Accompany residents to recreational activities

Requirements:
• One year of experience in continuing care preferred
• Completion of recognized Personal Care Aide course
• Active registration with CLHA
• Fluent in English, both orally and in writing
• Post-secondary education is an asset
