The City of Dawson Creek is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Aquatics Lifeguard-Instructor I. This position requires hands-on experience in an aquatic environment, along with a commitment to safety and teaching swimming skills. You will engage with the community while preparing lesson plans and ensuring equipment readiness for aquatic programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide lifeguarding services during aquatic activities
• Supervise swimming and related programs for safety
• Ensure all equipment is operational and ready for use




• Prepare lesson plans and conduct evaluations
• Monitor and document pool conditions as needed

Requirements:
• Current National Lifeguard Award (Pool Option)
• Standard First Aid with CPR C/AED certification required
• Lifesaving Swim Instructor certification mandatory
• Minimum 528 hours of relevant aquatic experience
• Criminal Record Search compliance required
