About the Role Our client is looking for a proactive and hands-on Site Engineer to join their construction team in Kimberley . This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective and safe execution of civil engineering projects on the ground. You will be responsible for overseeing site operations, quality control, and coordination with contractors and various site personnel. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background in civil engineering and practical site management experience. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure construction meets specified standards.
Coordinate the work of subcontractors and labor force on site.
Ensure all site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications,



providing guidance to site personnel.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily progress reports, material usage, and safety incidents.
Requirements National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar site-based role.
Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and site safety practices.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a site environment.
