RWC is hiring a Health and Safety Assistant to aid in managing a safe work environment across commercial construction projects. The role involves crucial tasks such as conducting safety orientations, maintaining safety records, and supporting site inspections. You will work closely with experienced safety professionals while engaging employees in safety initiatives throughout Calgary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementing the Health & Safety Program
• Conduct current hire safety orientations for employees
• Maintain health and safety records and documentation




• Support safety inspections by documenting observations
• Attend site safety meetings and toolbox talks
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of safety-related experience
• Experience in construction environment preferred
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety
• Valid driver's license with clean abstract
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
