This permanent role reports to the Administrator and Director of Resident Care at Avalon Care Centre. You will assess and implement educational needs while coordinating initiatives like Infection Control and Quality of Life. Ideal candidates will have a passion for ongoing education and at least two years of long-term care experience, particularly in gerontology.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and implement staff training programs
• Ensure completion of resident health records
• Coordinate programs in Skin Care and Palliative Care




• Direct orientation processes for students and staff
• Document outcomes affecting residents' health

Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with current Ontario certification
• Completion or enrollment in Long Term Care Senior Management
• Minimum 2 years in Long Term Care or Gerontology
• Computer literacy for educational documentation
• Solid interest in staff education and development
