Elevate your career as a Medical Laboratory Technologist I in Avenida PSC. This temporary full-time role focuses on processing and reporting diagnostic samples while communicating vital lab results.

In this position, you will report to the Technologist II or Supervisor and engage in routine and specialized testing. Your responsibilities include handling critical calls about testing procedures and results, while also training and orienting students and staff. You’ll contribute to the quality and timely reporting of diagnostic samples while recognizing unusual findings and alerting senior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate critical lab results via phone and fax
• Handle incoming inquiries regarding lab processes




• Perform testing and document results as per procedures
• Assist in training and orientation of staff and students
• Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed

Requirements:
• Completed accredited MLT program
• Registration with the CMLTA required
• Experience in a Laboratory Information Centre preferred
• Familiarity with Epic Beaker and Genesys Phone
• Robust communication and computer skills
