This role involves working under the supervision of the Manager Health Services at the Outpatient Centre. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will conduct diagnostic assessments, deliver therapeutic interventions, and oversee the home oxygen program. Collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure comprehensive respiratory care for patients, while embodying the organization’s values of respect, accountability, and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and recommend therapies for inpatients and outpatients
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments per best practices
• Collaborate with acute care teams for patient care
• Participate in the home oxygen program management
• Advise administration on respiratory therapy matters
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Respiratory Therapy
• Registered with the Manitoba Association of Registered Respiratory Therapists
• Current BCLS certification
• Recent clinical experience preferred
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
