Make a difference as a Full time Overnight Youth Worker at Covenant House's Rights of Passage program. Engage with at-risk youth in transitional housing while providing vital support and guidance.

Covenant House Toronto is seeking a dedicated individual for its overnight program. This position operates from 10:30 PM to 8:30 AM on a full-time, contract basis. Successful applicants will leverage a trauma-informed approach and support youth through their transitions to independent living. You'll facilitate life skills sessions and provide ongoing assessment and counseling.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build supportive relationships with ROP participants
• Facilitate life skill sessions and provide individual support




• Engage in crisis intervention when needed
• Coordinate shifts and ensure safety protocols are met
• Conduct reception duties and monitor spaces for safety

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in child and youth work
• Two years of experience in transitional housing
• Trauma-informed approach experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of community resources
