Responsibilities:
Use hand tools and power tools to build and repair structures using brick, concrete blocks, stone and other materials
Lay out work using schematics, drawings, or blueprints
Measure and cut materials to specific dimensions
Set bricks, block or stones in place according to the design plans
Clean and finish surfaces
Repair, renovate, or restore existing masonry structures
Experience:
Proven experience as a brick mason or in a similar role
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to masonry work
Knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, and other masonry materials
Skills:
Robust attention to detail and precision in workmanship
Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during construction or repair
Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and lifting
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
