Become a vital part of Lookout Housing and Health Society as a full time Janitor Maintenance Worker. Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of our facilities in The Junction-Courtenay, while supporting adults facing housing challenges. In this permanent role, you will report to the Site Manager, focusing on both janitorial duties and ongoing maintenance tasks.

Your responsibilities will include cleaning, disinfecting surfaces, maintaining building equipment, and performing repairs such as plumbing and landscaping. Collaborating with staff and guiding volunteers, you will help create a protected and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect all surfaces inside and outside
Remove garbage and empty recycling containers




Maintain and monitor building equipment regularly
Perform repairs and upkeep of premises
Assist new staff and oversee volunteers effectively Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 education plus two years' experience
Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
Robust communication and organizational skills
Ability to work with diverse, disadvantaged clients
Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector Apply your skills in maintenance and janitorial work to create a supportive space for vulnerable adults.
