IT Project Manager – Level 2 | Contract | British Columbia

Customizo is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager – Level 2 for a long-term public-sector engagement in British Columbia.

Contract Term: December 1, 2026 to November 30, 2027

Commitment: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Work Arrangement: Primarily remote, with occasional in-person attendance in Victoria, BC, as required The successful candidate will bring robust experience leading IT projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating senior stakeholders, and delivering projects through planning, execution, risk management, change management and implementation.

Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience within the last 7 years
Demonstrated IT project experience and working knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience delivering at least three projects of 8 months or longer
3+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary teams
Experience leading medium-complexity projects involving teams of at least five people
Robust experience with project charters, integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, resource planning and project dependencies
Demonstrated experience with risk analysis, risk management, change requests and budget requests




Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups and senior management
Experience developing business cases, feasibility studies or similar project documentation
Undergraduate degree in a technology-related field or another accepted equivalent qualification
Solid written, verbal, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills
Proficiency with project-management tools such as Microsoft Project

Preferred Qualifications
PMP designation
Public-sector or government project experience
Experience in banking, finance, payments, treasury or related environments
Experience preparing Treasury Board submissions

ServiceNow experience is not required.
