Reporting to the Senior Manager, this position focuses on delivering engineering design and modifications for instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience (minimum 12 years) in SAGD assets and an in-depth understanding of industry standards. You will coordinate with multiple teams to support automation projects and ensure that all design activities meet established engineering guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for ICE and integration projects • Design systems for instrumentation and automation integration • Produce engineering work packages and technical documentation • Manage project deliverables and resources effectively • Submit and facilitate MOCs and project controls
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering • Registered P.Eng with APEGA or APEGS • Minimum 12 years of relevant industry experience • Robust knowledge of oil sands control systems • Proven expertise in process control systems
