Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our energetic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required
Manage patient records using software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Provide excellent patient care by explaining treatment plans and procedures to patients
Maintain sterilization of instruments and cleanliness of the treatment area
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
Support orthodontic procedures as needed, including working with CAD technology
Assist with pediatric dental care, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients




Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with both patients and staff

Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of orthodontics being a plus
Familiarity with dental software systems
Experience in pediatrics or as a dental receptionist is beneficial
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members
