Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation, ensuring ingredients are ready for service and dishes meet quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
Support chefs with cooking tasks, following recipes and safety guidelines to deliver delicious meals
Handle food safety procedures, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients
Contribute to efficient service by managing food orders using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Support cashiering duties by assisting with cash handling and serving customers at the counter or bar area
Uphold high standards of guest service by maintaining a friendly attitude and ensuring timely meal delivery
Skills
Previous food service experience in a rapid-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
Experience with food preparation, cooking, and food handling safety protocols
Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar cash register operations
Ability to work efficiently in a team setting while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen
Hospitality background or hotel experience is a plus, along with barista experience or guest services skills
