Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Dog Trainer and Kennel Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with dogs and clients to achieve their training goals.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily care of animals including feeding, cleaning, and socializing
Train dogs in our boarding and training programs
Assist with group training classes and training of dogs boarding at the facility
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kennel facility
Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service

-Work one on one with pet owners to train their dogs in private sessions
Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and scheduling

Experience:
Previous experience working with dogs is preferred
Outgoing, Strong customer service skills
Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
Familiarity with balanced training techniques and training tools including prong collars and e-collars





-Willingness to adjust training techniques to fit our systems

-Evenings and Weekend availabilty is a must
Access to a vehicle and ability to travel regularly between our two locations in Stouffville and East York is mandatory

Please note: There will be an extended training period working with our current trainers to ensure comfort and compliance with our handling methods and practices in training sessions. Pay/schedule is subject to change
