Duties
Prepare a variety of desserts, including cakes, pastries, and other sweet treats, following established recipes and standards
Decorate desserts with precision using cake decorating techniques to ensure visual appeal
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times
Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling, and packaging desserts for display or takeout
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations, in compliance with food safety regulations




Provide friendly and attentive customer service by answering questions about desserts and assisting with selections
Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining a positive attitude

Skills
Experience in cake decorating or baking is highly desirable to create visually stunning desserts
Previous restaurant or food industry experience helps in understanding food safety protocols and fast-paced service settings
Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of cooking techniques relevant to dessert making
Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with guests and enhance their experience
Ability to handle food safely, including proper hygiene practices and food handling procedures
Kitchen experience that includes food safety standards and efficient work habits
Knowledge of packaging techniques for desserts to ensure freshness and presentation quality
