Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the standards of our kitchen.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal preparation.
Help train current kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills




Proven experience in food service or a similar role within the restaurant or food industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Ability to communicate in Cantonese is an asset
