Looking for a temporary flagger for approximately two weeks of roadside work. Your energetic presence and explicit communication will direct vehicles and pedestrians, safeguarding workers and the public alike.
Responsibilities
Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic safely around active zones using standardized hand signals and signage
Communicate clearly with drivers, pedestrians, and team members to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, barriers, signs, and flagging stations in accordance with safety regulations
Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to supervisors and document occurrences accurately
Skills
Excellent communication skills to effectively manage traffic flow and coordinate with team members
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, often outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining a proactive approach to safety
