We are an established dental practice in a state of the art facility, seeking a dedicated and skilled dental assistant to join our agile team. We provide competitive pay along with extended health and dental benefits. This postion is for a full-time marternity leave that requires applicants be available weekdays, evenings and some weekends.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments and materials.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
Maintain patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using dental software.
Educate patients on post-treatment care.
Sterilize instruments and disinfect treatment areas to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Manage patient flow in the office.
Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
Solid communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Experienced in fabricating night guards, bleach trays and other oral appliances
