We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to custom cabinet, door, and drawer production. This position is suited to someone starting their career who has foundational woodworking skills and a willingness to learn or someone with experience in cabinet making looking to take on more diverse responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC equipment and a sliding table saw according to shop procedures.
Safely operate saws, handheld power tools, and other woodworking equipment.
Read and interpret shop drawings, dimensions, and cutting lists.
Measure, cut, machine, and assemble cabinet components.
Manufacture cabinet doors and drawers.
Complete basic joinery and check work for accuracy and quality.
Assist with cabinet installation, including positioning, levelling, fastening, and adjustments.
Maintain a clean,
organized workspace and follow shop safety procedures.
Work with the team to meet production schedules.
Requirements
Ability to read shop drawings and complete basic joinery.
Ability to safely operate saws and handheld power tools.
Ability to take accurate measurements and work with fractions.
Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 80 lbs.
Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and a positive approach to learning.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Familiarity with hardwoods and composite materials is an asset. Previous woodworking experience, relevant courses, or a co-op placement are also assets.
