Status: Permanent Part Time Pay Grade: As per CUPE/SAHO contract
Position Description: Under the direction of the Cook/Working Supervisor, assists with production and distribution of food and beverages to residents/patients/clients, staff and family and provides and maintains a clean and safe working setting. Assemble and prepare food, serve, clean, sanitize and disinfect work areas and equipment. The employee will wash dishes, pots and pans manually or by machine, dispose of soiled linen and remove garbage. The employee may provide orientation to others.
The employee will verify supply orders received and priorize work so as to perform all duties in a protected and efficient manner in compliance with standards and regulations.
Qualifications: Grade X education, Food Secure Handling Certificate

FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES:
Shifts - 3.5 hours, 77.00 hours in a 6 week rotation.
Hours of work may include days, evenings and weekends and statutory holidays.
