Elevate your agriculture career with Sunderland Co-operative Inc. as a Grain Originator in Oakwood, Ontario. This full time role focuses on sourcing and developing solid relationships with grain producers.

As a pivotal member of Sunderland Co-op, you'll leverage your expertise in grain procurement to maintain and build trust-based relationships with growers. You will proactively originate grain, tailor contracting options, and execute contracts from negotiation to delivery scheduling.

Your involvement will drive our strategic procurement, supporting the company’s overall goals while ensuring quality supply.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with current and prospective grain growers
Originate grain through visits, calls, and account management




Execute and manage grain purchase contracts effectively
Monitor market trends and provide insights to growers
Participate in operational planning and educational programs

Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in Ag Economics or related field
Robust communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operating systems
Valid G driver’s license and willingness to travel
Ability to work peak-season hours and lift heavy items
