Required Skills and Attributes:
Red Seal Journeyman Machinist (an asset)
5+ Experience (ADVANCED skill only)
Able to set-up and operate multi-axis CNC machines
Proficient at reading technical drawings
Read and interpret G-code
Working under minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail
Proficient using handheld measuring equipment to inspected machined parts
Able to follow written and verbal instructions
Stand for long periods of time
Read,
write and communicate in English
Self-motivated
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Pride in workmanship
Responsibilities:
Set-up CNC machines with live tooling
Operate CNC machines
Run prototype and production orders
Maintain quality control to ensure job specifications are maintained
Perform quality inspections
Support other departments
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
