We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Adult Care Worker to join our team in providing exceptional support and care to adults in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings. Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
Support residents with meal preparation and feeding to promote proper nutrition and hydration
Engage residents in social activities and companionship to enhance mental and emotional health
Maintain a clean and protected workplace through regular cleaning and sanitation of living areas
Observe and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly
Provide assistance with household tasks like laundry,
light cleaning, and organizing personal belongings
Requirements
Proven experience working with adults in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments
Knowledge of senior care practices, including dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities
Experience administering medications and understanding medication safety protocols
Robust caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
Ability to perform light cleaning, meal preparation, and other household duties effectively
Relevant certifications or training in caregiving or health & safety standards preferred but not required
