WSP is seeking a skilled Electrical and Controls Designer to join our Process & Energy Electrical Group. This role is perfect for candidates with over 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical design, particularly in Power Generation Projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to execute impactful design solutions and support energy transition initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review P&IDs; and develop electrical drawings
• Generate complete electrical drawing packages
• Evaluate RFQs and electrical contract documents
• Provide technical guidance to site contractors
• Coordinate with various engineering teams
Requirements:
• Diploma in electrical engineering technology
• 5+ years in electrical design
• Experience with AutoCAD and 3D CADD tools
• Detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset
• Commitment to climate adaptation and decarbonization
