We're Hiring: Program Coordinator, National Apprenticeship Initiatives
Toronto, Canada (mostly remote, with weekly in-office days)| Full-Time | Eligible to work in Canada | Bilingual (English & French) is an asset
The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum (CAF-FCA) is looking for a detail-oriented and self-directed Program Coordinator to help deliver a national, federally funded apprenticeship initiative.
If you're the kind of person who keeps spreadsheets pristine, never lets a deadline slip, and genuinely enjoys turning administrative chaos into order — we want to hear from you. This opportunity will support a project of national scope that will make a real impact in the lives of Canadians coast to coast.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll provide operational, administrative, and data tracking support that keeps our program running efficiently and audit-ready, including:
Program Administration
Maintain accurate records, track employer participation and incentive approvals, and keep documentation audit-ready
Data Entry & Tracking
Update employer and apprentice data, monitor progress toward targets, and maintain internal dashboards
Reporting Support
Help prepare quarterly and annual reports, compile data summaries, and coordinate reporting deadlines
Stakeholder & Partner Support
Be a first point of contact for program inquiries, assist in the coordination of partner meetings, and maintain stakeholder contacts in collaboration with the Partnership Manager
Administrative Support
Manage project calendars, track deliverables, and support event and travel coordination
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with CAF's communications and finance teams, and contribute to broader CAF initiatives
What You Bring
College diploma or university degree in administration, project management, public administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of experience in program coordination, project administration, or a similar role — ideally in a data-intensive setting
Ability to work and communicate effectively in both English and French is a strong asset
Strong Excel and MS Office skills; experience with Trello or similar tools is a plus
Exceptional attention to detail and documentation management
Comfort working independently in a remote environment, managing competing deadlines
Experience with government-funded programs is an asset
Compensation
Market-competitive salary and benefits package, aligned with experience.
