As a Float Team nurse at CHEO, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and their families. This role allows you to adapt your pediatric nursing skills across various departments, covering immediate needs or longer-term vacancies. You will practice in compliance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards and CHEO's policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess nursing care needs for individual pediatric patients
• Plan and implement appropriate nursing interventions




• Evaluate outcomes of nursing care provided
• Cover short-term or long-term staffing needs in the hospital
• Collaborate closely with families and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN) preferred
• Minimum two years of pediatric nursing experience
• Current Registration with the CNO
• Valid CPR certification
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
