Privateers Harley-Davidson in Halifax , Nova Scotia , is an authorized dealer of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and products. We currently have an opening in our Service Department for a Service Manager .
Responsibilities: Customer Experience & Communication Ensure every customer receives exceptional service consistent with Rugged Rock Harley-Davidson standards.
Greet customers, assess service needs, and communicate repair timelines, costs, and updates clearly.
Resolve customer complaints swiftly and professionally.
Maintain a welcoming, premium service environment that reflects the Harley-Davidson and Arctic Cat lifestyle and culture.
Department Leadership & Staff Management Lead, mentor, and coach service advisors, technicians, detailers, and support staff.
Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and ongoing training.
Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing service team members.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Operational & Workflow Management Qualifications: 3+ years experience in motorcycle, automotive, powersports, or similar service management role.
Robust technical understanding of motorcycle service, preferably Harley-Davidson.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.




Ability to interpret financial reports and manage department profitability.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
