We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team for our Applewood Power Sports store, where you'll have the opportunity to grow and succeed with us. We're searching for a dynamic individual who is up for the challenge of motivating our team and driving success. The ideal candidate will bring their Energy, Passion, and Collaborative Spirit to work alongside our fantastic team of professionals.

What You’ll Bring
A successful assistant sales manager should have exceptional interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities
Finance

Working with the salespeople and submitting applications through Dealertrack

Following up with lenders on approvals, conditions and steps until deals are funded

Making sure deal files are complete and compliant before sending them to accounting.

Tracking and accounting costs

Handling trade-in payouts and lien searches

Helping desk deals and structure payments for salespeople

Tracking deal gross and preparing monthly sales reports

Handling vehicle registration, insurance and plates through ICBC

Powersports

Organizing transport of powersports units

Coordinating unit intake, assembly and PDI with the shop

Tracking powersports inventory and helping with ordering

Attending powersports shows, setting up displays, staffing the booth and following up on show leads





Commission Payment:
As an Independent Contractor, you will be paid a combination of a monthly commission payment guarantee plus a variable commission payment plan. As an Independent Contractor, you are responsible for setting up your own Sole Proprietorship and registering to have a GST number. After which you are responsible for paying your yearly taxes as a Sole Proprietorship (or Corporation, if you so choose). It is generally advisable that you connect with a Tax skilled to receive advice on how to handle this from the beginning of your contract with Applewood.

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong organization and prioritization skills
