Abbeal is hiring a Full Stack Developer to join the capital markets technology team of a major Canadian bank in Montreal. 12-month assignment.
Context Capital markets applications run under heavy constraints: volumes, reliability, regulatory requirements. The team is looking for someone who can own the whole chain, from application design to production.
The role Contribute to application design and architecture
Build the front-end and back-end of the applications
Design and expose APIs and services
Write and optimise SQL queries




Ship continuously with Git and a CI/CD pipeline
Work in an agile team with business stakeholders and other developers
What we are looking for Solid experience in full stack development, front-end and back-end
Hands-on application and API design
Solid SQL
Used to Git, CI/CD and agile methods
Nice to have: banking or financial markets experience
Fluent French and English (required)
Terms Open to freelancers or as a permanent Abbeal employee
Montreal, hybrid: 2 days a week in the office
12-month assignment
