FedEx Canada is hiring a Shuttle Driver to transport freight within various facilities. Drive safely and efficiently while loading, unloading, and ensuring package security during every shift.
In this crucial role, your responsibilities will include scanning, sorting, and securely managing freight within the FedEx setting. As a Shuttle Driver, you will use a non-articulated vehicle to ensure compliance with safety regulations. The position requires a valid Class 5/Class G license, good driving record, and interpersonal skills to interact productively with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload freight from company vehicles
• Scan and audit packages for size and weight
• Sort packages by destination and service type
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after use
• Maintain proper security of packages and equipment
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class 5/Class G driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Bilingual in French and English preferred
• Knowledge of FedEx Express operations beneficial
