At AgeCare, we are seeking a motivated Registered Practical Nurse dedicated to delivering high-quality care. You’ll work collaboratively with a team, including physicians and Personal Support Workers, to ensure residents receive the attention they need. Your role will involve implementing care policies, monitoring resident status, and participating in report sessions to keep the team informed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with health care team members effectively
• Direct Personal Support Workers in their duties
• Monitor and report significant changes in residents’ conditions
• Contribute to the revision of unit procedures as needed
Requirements:
• Knowledge in geriatric and long-term care nursing
• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses
• Understanding of applicable health regulations and acts
• Effective communication skills within team settings
• Experience in rehabilitation or activation is an asset
