As a Senior SCADA Engineer, you will report to the Discipline Lead and serve as a technical authority for automation systems in electrical facilities. Your work will span across transmission, distribution, power generation, and renewable energy sectors, providing mentorship and developing key processes within the team. Focus on quality and strategy will be essential for successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and mentorship through project execution • Design and approve SCADA configurations and systems • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for utility infrastructure projects • Prepare and check engineering packages including schematics • Configure and troubleshoot SCADA systems and networks
Requirements: • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Dipl. in Electrical Tech • Active Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation • 2-8+ years preferred in the Utilities sector • Experience with medium/high voltage engineering • Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills
