As an Account Executive, Private Client a typical day might include: Developing and implementing a marketing strategy to grow and manage a Personal insurance book of business, maintaining a sales pipeline and developing current business opportunities Conducting regular review meetings with existing clients to service and identify opportunities for new prospecting activities Maintaining a highly technical and service-oriented relationship with clients & underwriters Developing and maintaining relationships with insurers to ensure clients receive favourable pricing and claims handling and to develop new products Attending client (prospective & existing), insurer, and industry functions to build networks and identify new business streams Referring business opportunities outside specialty area to other Axis Account Executives Preparing annual business plan with projected sales goals, strategies, obstacles, and areas for growth Attending regular Personal Lines Growth Group meetings Attending networking events and sources external leads Providing friendly, professional service Building relationships – with clients, with underwriters, with colleagues ...

Minimum 5 years' Personal insurance experience General Insurance Agent Level 2 license through the Insurance Council of British Columbia or equivalent license in the individual's province of residence, with the ability to obtain a British Columbia license CAIB, CIP, CRM or other insurance designations considered an asset Post Secondary Degree considered an asset Experience using EPIC broker management system an asset From team-building activities to contests and giveaways, holiday parties to virtual/in-person social events, we believe in building connections, knowing that a happy team makes a happy workplace!
