We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to grow our industrial construction practice in Calgary and across Alberta.

Role Overview:

This is an opportunity for an established recruitment professional with strong industrial construction relationships to build and grow their own client base, with the flexibility and earning potential of a 100% commission structure.

You’ll have access to Torus Talent’s candidate database, LinkedIn Recruiter license, office space, and recruitment support. You can manage the full recruitment cycle yourself or focus on developing client relationships and work with another recruiter on candidate delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop new business and build relationships with industrial construction companies and hiring managers in Calgary and across Alberta.
- Understand clients’ recruitment needs and establish trusted, long-term partnerships.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer discussions, when delivering a role end to end.
- Coordinate with another recruiter when you bring in the business but do not manage candidate recruitment.
- Maintain robust relationships with clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.

What We Offer:

- 70% Commission:



Receive 70% of the placement fee when you bring in the business and manage the recruitment process through to placement.
- 35% Commission: Receive 35% of the placement fee when you bring in the business and another recruiter handles candidate recruitment.

- Recruitment Support: Work with an established team and back office to help deliver on the opportunities you develop.
- Flexibility: Manage your own business development and recruitment activity with greater control over your schedule.

What We’re Looking For:

- Relevant Industry Experience: Experience in recruitment, account management, or business development within industrial construction or a related sector.
- Established Calgary-Area Relationships: Existing connections with industrial construction companies and hiring managers in Calgary or across Alberta.
- Business Development Skills: A track record of building client relationships and developing new business.
- Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills: Confidence communicating with clients and candidates and negotiating effectively.
- Self-Motivated and Results-Driven: Comfortable working independently in a 100% commission-based environment.
- Adaptable and Resourceful: Able to manage priorities, work flexibly, and find solutions to meet client needs.
