The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our ACTI finance team for a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, arranging the payments, resolving the discrepancies and liaising with the vendors as well as cross-function departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable principles, excellent reconciliation skills, inter-company knowledge, great communication and a commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise with the Accounts Payable team to ensure invoices of different entities in ACTI group are processed accurately and efficiently, including but not limited to matching, coding, and entering invoices into the MS Dynamics GP accounting system.
- Review invoices and account expense reports for accuracy, proper authorization, and adherence to company policies.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies by collaborating with vendors, purchasing team, and other internal departments.
- Conduct weekly payment run including EFT, ACH, wire and check payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.




- Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Set up and maintain accurate vendor records, including contact information, banking information and payment terms as per corporate finance protocol.
- Perform Bank Reconciliations and Credit Card Reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Participate in continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Any other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required by Finance Manager/Controller.

Requirements:

- Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience handling Accounts Payable, preferably in Manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles, and basic accounting knowledge.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel, MS GP Dynamics experience preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical/problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Discretion and integrity when handling confidential financial information.
