Airport operations require around-the-clock vigilance to ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and high-value assets. As an Airport Security Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining access control, conducting routine patrols, and responding to security needs across a 24/7 specialized aviation facility.

In this role, success means maintaining a visible, professional security presence while enforcing site access policies consistently and calmly.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and credentials for all employees, visitors, and contractors.

- Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols of interior facilities, airfield perimeters, and parking areas.

- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, safety hazards, or potential security breaches.

- Maintain detailed daily logbooks and write clear, objective incident reports.

- Provide customer service and direction to visitors while enforcing site rules and regulations.

Long-Term Impact

- Build strong, trust-based working relationships with site staff, management, and local emergency responders.

Available Positions and Shift Schedules

This site operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Standard shift blocks are:

- Morning: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

- Evening:



2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

- Night: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

We are currently hiring for the following openings:

- 1 Full-Time Night Guard (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

- 1 Temporary Full-Time Night Guard (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

- 1 Full time Evening Guard (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)

- 2 Part-Time Guards (flexible shift availability required)

- 1 Part-Time Night Guard (flexible shift availability required)

- 1 Casual Guard (flexible shift availability required)

Position Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

- Must be Legally eligible to work in Canada

- Minimum of 1 year of security guard experience.

- Valid Manitoba Security License

- Valid driver's license

- Ability to work the assigned shift patterns. Part-time and casual roles require flexible availability to meet operational demands.

- Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a consistent track record of reliability.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Previous security experience in an airport, aviation, or industrial critical infrastructure environment.

- Valid First Aid / CPR certification.
