Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Site Superintendent to join our agile team overseeing the construction of wood frame townhouses. 75-unit townhome project located in Surrey BC.

Duties

- Ability to work with tools and perform tasks onsite as needed - carpentry & finishing carpentry work, screwing floors, etc.

- Operate telehandler on as needed basis

- Assist the Site Superintendent in coordinating daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols

- Train and oversee onsite construction team.

- Supervise subcontractors and construction crews, providing clear direction and oversight to maintain productivity and quality standards

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to facilitate accurate execution of work

- Monitor progress regularly, identify potential issues early, and communicate effectively with project managers to implement solutions





- Support quality control measures by inspecting work for compliance with specifications, codes, and standards

- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, safety incidents, inspections, and progress reports for project documentation

- Other duties as assigned

Skills

- 2+ years proven experience supervising residential townhouse construction

- Excellent understanding of quality control procedures and safety regulations on active job sites

- OFA Level II and Telehandler certifications are an asset.
