Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an AST Event Security qualified, where your vigilance and expertise will ensure the safety and security of large-scale events. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and preventing loss or unauthorized activity. Your proactive approach and keen attention to detail will contribute to the success of our events while providing a safe experience for all attendees, staff, and vendors.

Responsibilities

- Monitor event premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of staff, vendors, attendees, and contractors to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the event area to identify potential hazards or security concerns.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders in case of incidents or emergencies.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing crowd behavior and intervening when necessary.




- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly.
- Enforce event policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all participants.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or surveillance is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and emergency responders.
- Demonstrated understanding of loss prevention methods and crowd control strategies.
- Certification or training in security procedures or law enforcement practices is a plus.
- Must be able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
