We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for automotive repair. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and schematics to effectively troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines while working on vehicles.
- Lift heavy parts and equipment as needed during the repair process.
- Weld components when necessary to complete repairs.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics.
- Welding skills to repair or fabricate metal components.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
