Job Overview

We are looking for an Automatic Door Technician to join our pedestrian door and hardware team in Saint John. In this role you will install, service, and repair a wide variety of automatic door systems for clients, including operators, sensors, controls, and related hardware on sliding, swinging, folding, and low-energy doors.

Day-to-day work includes troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues on site, completing service calls and installations to a high standard of quality and safety, and keeping accurate job notes.



You will communicate clearly with the office and customers, represent the company professionally in the field, and work from a fully stocked and equipped company van. The role is primarily service and repair with some installation work, supporting the whole pedestrian door and hardware team.

We prefer candidates with around five years of experience with automatic doors, but we will consider applicants with any related field experience. Manufacturer training or certifications (such as Stanley, Horton, Assa Abloy, or equivalent) and an electrical background or ticket are nice to have, though not required. Strong mechanical aptitude, a professional attitude, and the ability to work safely and independently are essential.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
