Wheaton Surrey is currently seeking a full time Parts Department Counterperson. We are located in the White rock/South Surrey area and have an awesome work environment. If you like to come to work where you enjoy being there, this is the shop for you.
Responsibilities
- Greeting wholesale customers, retail customers and service techs in person, on the phone and via email
- Supplying technicians with parts in a timely manner to maintain shop efficiency
- Using GM's EPC and DMS to accuratley identifying, sourcing and selling GM parts and accessories
- Ordering and receiving inventory orders, assist with bin counts
- Answering phone calls/emails from our wholesale accounts
- Returning cores for credit
- Maintaining a clean workspace
Experience
- 1-2 years of prior experience in a dealership parts dept.
- General Motors product knowledge is considered a strong asset
- Good understanding of automotive mechanical systems, as well as using OEM parts software such as Electronic parts catalogue and dealer management systems for inventory control
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast paced setting
- Interpersonal skills, with a good attitude when dealing with busy mechanics or when helping customers on the phone or at the counter
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
