The Role

Full-Time year-round position.

30 - 40 hours per week (Mix of day and evening shifts), Increased hours available during peak winter and summer seasons.

Must be available weekends, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly, provide attentive, friendly service, and create a welcoming atmosphere at all times
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, using the POS system
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to La Brasserie standards
- Offer informed recommendations on menu items, daily features, wine, beer, and cocktails
- Ensure responsible alcohol service in line with BC liquor laws and company policies
- Deliver food and drinks promptly, checking back to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle cash and card payments accurately, close bills, and balance your float
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and service area, including restocking and nightly breakdown
- Assist with opening and closing duties, side work, and general restaurant cleanliness




- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when needed

Requirements Minimum age 19 (alcohol service in BC)

Valid Serving It Right certification

At least 1 year bartending experience

POS experience, wine knowledge, Italian cuisine familiarity, and high-volume service experience are all assets

Fluent English; additional languages are an asset

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
