Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a solid commitment to helping students succeed academically while fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves providing personalized instruction and support to students of various ages and backgrounds, ensuring they grasp key concepts in their studies.

A background in tutoring or education is highly desirable, along with proficiency in multiple languages ，particularly Mandarin, or French.

Duties

- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure comprehension.
- Strong biology background — university degree in biology / life sciences or related field (current students welcome)
- Encourage and motivate students to achieve their academic goals while building their confidence.




- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Maintain a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes learning.
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred, particularly with children.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin.
- Ability to write clear and concise lesson plans and educational materials.
- Familiarity with classroom dynamics and educational best practices.
- A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
