About Us

At Totally Chocolate we pour our passion into every gourmet chocolate creation! As North America’s leading decorated chocolate company, we help organizations create meaningful connections with their stakeholders. We craft bespoke engraved chocolate creations at scale, offering infinite customization and storytelling opportunities that deliver deep moments of joy, gratitude, respect, and celebration.

About the Role

Totally Chocolate is looking for a Brand & Content Specialist to own how our brand looks, sounds and shows up across every channel, and to use that brand and content to help grow the business.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution. You'll develop the content strategy, figure out which audiences, messages, channels and ideas are most likely to support our business goals, then make the work happen. You might develop a campaign concept, write the copy, photograph the product, edit the images, build the catalogue spread, create the social assets and turn it all into a newsletter.

You'll be responsible for taking projects from business objective to strategy to creation to execution. You'll use performance data to understand what's working, what's not and what we should do next.

What You'll Own

Brand

- Help flesh out Totally Chocolate's established brand voice, visual identity and creative standards.
- Ensure the brand is represented consistently across channels.
- Help evolve our visual language, including illustration and other visual systems, while staying true to the established brand.
- Serve as a brand resource for Sales and other departments.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen how the brand is expressed and how effectively it connects with our audiences.
- Make sure creative decisions support the larger marketing and business objectives, not just aesthetics.

Content Strategy

- Develop and own a content strategy that supports business goals, generates demand and grows engagement with the right audiences.
- Translate business priorities, customer needs, products and company stories into content that attracts, informs and moves prospective customers toward action.
- Determine which audiences, topics, formats and channels are most likely to contribute to traffic, engagement, subscriber growth and lead generation.
- Build and manage the content calendar across website, social media, email, print and other relevant channels.
- Use performance data to evaluate content, identify opportunities and continuously improve what we create and distribute.
- Build a library of reusable content and creative assets that supports both marketing and sales.
- Identify gaps in our content library and develop plans to fill them.
- Balance planned content with timely opportunities and new ideas while staying focused on measurable business outcomes.

- Experience working with outside creative vendors.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll know when you’re succeeding when our content attracts the right audiences, give them reasons to engage and make a no-brainer to buy from us.

You'll use those numbers to make decisions, not simply report them. You'll know which content is performing, why it's working, where we're losing people and what we should try next.

Our website, social channels, email, catalogue and sales materials will feel like they come from the same brand. We'll have a growing library of photography, video, illustrations and other creative assets that make our products easy to understand and exciting to discover.

Most importantly, you'll be able to connect the work you're doing to the results we're trying to achieve. When someone says, "We should do something about this," you'll be the person who can figure out what that something should be, connect it to a business goal, make a plan and get it done.
